This summer we partnered with a local organization called “Food is Free” to host a food stand at our church. The idea is simple: leave something or take something. Anyone can drop off non-perishable food items and put them on the stand which those in need can come and take. Many people are struggling to make ends meet. Our stand gets a lot of visitors during the week. We’ve also put out fresh fruits and vegetables. The need is great and much of the food is often gone within hours. Please consider participating in this ministry by dropping off any canned goods, fresh fruit, bread, or non-perishable items during the week or bring them on Sundays. Also welcome are unopened personal hygiene products.
